Our Registered Nurses play a vital role in the care and safety of our patients at Summit Oaks Hospital. The Registered Nurse provides direct care for our patients under the guidance of our physicians and treatment teams, maintains a safe and supportive environment for patients through the implantation of safety checks and crisis management, documents patient care, and upholds the core values of Summit Oaks Hospital.

This is a Full Time position from 7am - 7pm, 3 days a week, 36 hours a week with rotating weekends. There is opportunity to cover various shifts and pick up overtime if interested.

• Assesses and responds to medical needs of patients under the guidance of the physicians.
• Conducts safety checks and implements appropriate behavioral management techniques.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current New Jersey RN licensure; BSN/BS preferred.
• Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
• Graduate of NLN accredited program preferred.
• ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.
